I love quality gear in all aspects and appreciate craftmanship and details. As a photographer I can use all kinds of cameras, but I’m a bit of a Nikonista or Nikonian as we’re called.To create my photo’s I use this gear:
Nikon D80
Nice all purpose DSLR with 10.2 megapixels. Enough for print. This is still my main body as it fits my Ikelite underwater housing.

Nikon D90
The successor of the D80. My poor camera has taken a beating, because I accidently dropped it 2 times. The built-in flash and CLS don’t function any more )-: The D90 is faster than the D80 and takes photos with more ease than the D80.

Blackrapid RS-4 strap
The killer strap for any DSLR! If only they had sent it quicker to Europe I might not have dropped my D90. Great camerastrap.

Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM
All purpose lens that I prefered over Nikon’s 18-70mm lens, that’s not a great lens for underwater photography.

Nice lens for wideangle underwater photography.

AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D
The old 60mm AF-D lens, but still tacksharp and a great performer. Very versatile with teleconverters and diopters.

AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED
The big fat one for razorsharp images. Very useful for shy critters. A bit of beast to handle, but produces excellent results when you get it right.

A 50mm must-have for smooth depth of field photos.

AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G
Another fine large aperture lens, that mimicks the more traditional 50mm lenses on a DX camera like the D80 or D90.

AF-S VR Zoom- Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED
This inexpensive lens turned out much better than I expected and is great for weddings, portrait and cityphotography.
